ABOUT WAYWARD STARs
Captain Khalur is the youngest officer in the Karian Imperial Fleet. For his entire adult life he has known nothing but war against the neighboring Rilesian species. Soon a chance encounter with an enemy crew and ghosts from his past will force him to re-evaluate everything he’s fought for and believed in.
Rayla Cezares is a low-ranking recruit in the Rilesian Defense Force. Though a patriotic defender of her people, she carries with her an origin that has left her an outcast among her own kind. Through the same chance encounter she’ll find herself entangled with her enemy’s struggle in a way that will alter the fate of the galaxy.
Wayward Stars is the story of two worlds colliding, of unity and reconciliation in the face of enduring conflict and mutual prejudice. Unlikely comrades will be found amidst dire circumstances and long-held allegiances will be questioned. Austin Ross is a part-time writer, part-time courier from the Saint Louis area. He enjoys all things science-fiction and fantasy related. As a child he was greatly inspired by series such as Star Trek and Stargate. When not writing he enjoys reading, playing games, and the occasional outdoor hike. He has an obsession with bringing new places and people to life along with a burning desire to share those creations with others.
